Only customers in the United States may access this promotion. The promotion must be redeemed on the United States Instacart platform. Canadian customers aren’t eligible, and can’t redeem this offer through the Canada Instacart platform.
- Eligible customers can redeem the free Instacart+ membership even if they had an Instacart+ membership previously.
- Active Instacart+ members can extend their membership for free by 3, 6, or 12 months depending on which Chase credit card they hold.
- Your paid Instacart+ membership will auto-renew at the end of your extension unless you cancel.
- Eligible customers can receive statement credits for specific Chase credit cards.
- The statement credit amount and frequency varies based on the specific card held by the customer, earning up to $10-15 per period, with periods ranging from monthly to quarterly.

J.P. Morgan Reserve and Sapphire Reserve credit card holders receive their statement credit(s) on their monthly credit card billing statement within 1-2 billing cycles.
Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire, Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Flex, and Freedom Student credit card holders receive their statement credit(s) quarterly within the calendar quarter that they made a purchase. For example, quarter 3 is July through August. If you make a purchase in August, you should receive that statement credit within the same quarter

- Select Get Started to create your account or log in.
- Add your Chase credit card.
- Select Activate Now to begin your Instacart+ membership.
Check for active Instacart+ membership
You can check the Your Instacart+ Membership page under your account settings to see if you have an active membership.
You can also see free delivery and a reduced service fee at checkout for orders $35+ per retailer within the Instacart mobile app or website.
Charging your credit card
Instacart charges your card once your account converts to a paid plan at the end of your free membership. You’ll receive a welcome email after signing up which will tell you your next membership renewal date. Then you’ll receive an email notice 30 days before renewal.
Terms and conditions
Complimentary Instacart+ Membership: You will receive one complimentary Instacart+ membership per eligible card account for 12 months (for Chase Sapphire Reserve and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardmembers) or 6 months (for Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Sapphire cardmembers) or 3 months (for Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Flex, Freedom Student, Slate, and Slate Edge cardmembers)when the membership is activated on http://www.instacart.com/chase with an eligible card between 6/15/2022 and 7/31/2024. (“You” and “your” mean you as the primary cardmember or any authorized user, depending on which user activates first). This offer is non-transferrable. Membership must be activated with a United States address. Memberships purchased through third parties are excluded from this offer. Benefits of Instacart’s membership include no delivery fee on orders that total over $35 (amount subject to change – see Instacart.com for current minimum); however, other fees, taxes, and/or tips may apply. Statement Credit on Instacart Purchases
Earn up to $15 per month (for J.P. Morgan Reserve and Sapphire Reserve cardmembers), $15 per calendar quarter (for Sapphire and Sapphire Preferred cardmembers) or $10 per calendar quarter (for Freedom, Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Flex, and Freedom Student cardmembers) in statement credits on qualifying Instacart purchases from 8/1/2022 through 7/31/2024 when you activate a complimentary Chase Instacart+ membership on Instacart.com/Chase with your eligible Chase credit card. Calendar quarters are Jan – March, April – June, July – September, October – December, and the partial calendar quarters at the beginning and end of the promotional period. You can check the status of your enrollment in the Chase benefit within the Instacart+ section of the Instacart mobile app. You will continue to receive statement credit benefits regardless of whether you choose to renew your Instacart+ membership at the end of your complimentary period. Qualifying Instacart purchases include only those orders purchased by you, or an authorized user, with a Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Chase Freedom Student, or Chase Freedom Flex credit card through Instacart.com or the Instacart mobile application (gift cards excluded). Statement credit(s) will post to your account within 48 hours of your qualifying Instacart purchase posting to your account and will appear on your monthly credit card billing statement within 1-2 billing cycles. Statement credits will be issued for the calendar quarter in which the transaction posts to your account.
